Your Agency's Role 

Besides matching qualified Intended Parents to prospective surrogate candidates, what is the Agency's role in the medical, legal, psychological aspects of the surrogacy match? (The short list below will vary from Agency to Agency and upon the needs of IP and Surrogate.)

Assisting with psychological screenings

Assisting with health, life and disability policies

Assists with finding legal counsel who are familiar with ART and if holding trust funds, makes sure they are  bonded

Arranging to send verbal agreements between parties to the attorney to be included in the contract

Coordinating and/or locating a RE/clinic to work with the surrogate arrangement

Assisting with locating a "surrogate friendly" OB office

Coordinating Escrow/Trust Accounts for the distribution of funds throughout the contract time frame

Assisting with Mediation and/or Counseling

General Case Management and support

Attending Transfers/Appointments and Births   

Arranging background checks
